LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Lafayette police want to question a man possibly involved in writing a threatening message on a sidewalk.

Lafayette Police Sgt. Bob Baumgartner said a man was caught on surveillance video writing “Kill the Police” with a piece of chalk. The incident happened on the 800 block of Main Street.

If you recognize this person, Baumgartner said to call the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200 or the WeTip Hotline at 800-78-CRIME.
