MatchBOX Coworking Studio opens doors to other cities

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Members of Indiana co-working studios now have access to other spaces around the state.

The Indiana Coworking Passport program gives the opportunity for members of studios, like MatchBox in Lafayette, a place to work when they are traveling.

Members of other studios can visit MatchBox one day each month for no charge. MatchBox Operations Manager Ashley G. Scott said this literally opens the door to entrepreneurs from around the state.

Studios from Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Bloomington are taking part in the Passport Program. Scott said this allows small business owners from all over Indiana to connect.

“It’s going to facilitate a lot of partnerships and community building. It’s going to help them grow their business in other areas by having a place to meet and work with clients and pitch to investors,” said Scott.

MatchBox is hosting an entrepreneur boot camp on Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Presenters will discuss product and branding strategies in the small business world. Preregistration is at 12:30 p.m.
