WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Sports 18 has confirmed that Adam Ballard will replace Michael Lewis as the next head boys basketball coach of Delphi Community High School.

Ballard spent the last three seasons as the head man at Vincennes Rivet.

He compiled a record of 19-49 over those three years, but Rivet did improve its record each year during his tenure.

“I see a lot of similarities in Adam as I saw in Mike Lewis,” interim Delphi Athletic Director Dan Dawson said. “He’s focused, driven, successful, and had great references from some of the top opposing coaches in southern Indiana. He’s a really good find for our school.” provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
