Tunes and treats at Main Street Monticello Tour

MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) – People enjoyed tunes and treats Friday night in downtown Monticello. This is the fifth year for the Main Street Monticello Tour.

The event raises money for Monticello Business Alliance. Organizer Ingrid Landis said it draws people from all over to downtown Monticello in an effort to get them to shop and eat locally.

“It brings a lot of spirit, young people, old people they love coming and hearing the music. We’ve never had anything like it,” said Landis.

Kyle Cook, the lead guitarist from Matchbox 20, rocked the stage.

The event was free. Landis was expecting nearly 5,000 people.
