LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The MatchBOX Coworking Studio in Lafayette is opening its doors to the public with an open house.

The MatchBOX Free Day gives people a chance to see how the co-working studio operates. People are invited to take a tour, have some coffee and learn how working professionals take advantage of their facility in Lafayette’s downtown.

Operations Director Ashlee G. Scott said co-working is quickly becoming the way to do business.

“Some of the benefits of co-working include enhanced networking,” Scott said. “You get to meet new clients or get advice or feedback on your company.”

Scott said co-working can offer new solutions.

“You have an opportunity to really just get out of your comfort zone or get into a new comfort zone, if you currently haven’t been pleased with your home office environment or local coffee shops or other solutions you’ve attempted to find,” Scott said.

The open house is Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at MatchBOX, 17 S. Sixth St., in Lafayette.
