Child homicide case moves on to prosecutor

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The Lafayette Police Department has submitted their report on the death of a 14-month-old girl to the Tippecanoe Prosecutor’s Office.

It’s now in the hands of Prosecutors who will then decide if any charges should be filed.

Skylar Foster’s death was ruled a homicide earlier this month.

After Foster died, the Marion County coroner ruled that the she died from blunt force trauma to the head.

When asked about the case, Tippecanoe County Prosecutor Pat Harrington said “we will review the reports, and continue working with the detectives if additional information is needed.”
