Three vehicle crash closes McCarty Lane

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A crash closed McCarty Lane between Sagamore Parkway and Creasy Lane for about two hours Saturday afternoon.

Lafayette police say the driver of a pickup truck ran a stop sign, hitting a J&T Recovery Tow Truck traveling east bound. From the force of that collision, the tow truck hit a car traveling west bound on McCarty Lane.

Dispatchers say at least two people were taken to St. Elizabeth East Hospital. The extent of their injuries are not known.
