WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – West Lafayette police are looking for the two men they say robbed the Circle K gas station at the intersection of Sagamore Parkway and Yeager Road just before 3:20 Friday morning.

Officers said one man had a unique long barreled handgun and the duo were in and out quickly. Police were told the two men took money from the register then fled on foot into a nearby group of apartment buildings.

A K-9 unit tracked the men to the Warren House apartments, but police could not confirm they were there. A perimeter was set up with at least five officers searching. But as of 5 a.m. Friday, no one was in custody.

The cashier was not hurt. Officers said it is still unclear how much money was taken.

If you have any information on Friday morning’s armed robbery, please contact the West Lafayette Police Department at 765-775-5200.
