Cash stolen from Lafayette Village Pantry

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from a Lafayette Village Pantry early Saturday morning.

According to Lafayette police, two males entered the Village Pantry at 601 Union St. armed with a handgun just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

The individuals of interest were described as being 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall both with medium builds. One person was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and the other a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The two took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Responding officers did not locate the persons of interest. No one was injured during the incident.
