Two people escape Lafayette fire

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Two people inside a home were able to get out when they found out the garage was on fire.

Lafayette Fire Department responded to the call at 1913 Iroquois Trail just after noon on Sunday. Firefighters said the fire was able to be contained to the garage. The structure received minor damage. However, the home received some smoke damage.

There were no injuries. No word on what caused the fire.
