LPD car involved in morning crash

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A Lafayette police car was involved in a crash Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at the intersection of 18th and South streets around 11:30 a.m. Police say a white pickup truck was heading west on South Street. The truck was turning south onto 18th Street when it collided with a police car.

Police say neither driver was injured.

The intersection was restricted for some time as crews cleaned up the the crash.
