Plea agreement filed for wife of former sheriff in theft case

CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – The wife of the former Carroll County sheriff who faces a pair of felony charges signs a plea agreement.

Jean Ann Randle, wife of Dennis Randle, was charged in April with theft and theft where the value of property is at least $100,000.

According to the terms of the plea agreement filed Monday, Randle agrees to a three-year suspended prison sentence. She will instead go on probation for those three years and pay restitution.

Sentencing is set for Oct. 2.
