CARROLL CO., Ind. (WLFI) — Carroll Consolidated School Corporation will now have an option for students needing to attend an alternative school.

Superintendent Chris Lagoni said the corporation has signed a contract with The Crossing Educational Center. The Crossing provides leadership training and opportunities, and a job training program for students.

Based on where the students live in the district they will attend the Kokomo or Frankfort location. Lagoni said the corporation will provide students with transportation.

According to Lagoni, there are no students needing the alternative school at this time, but said this gives students who may become expelled a chance to continue their education. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
