MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Gregory Konrath, the former surgeon accused of plotting to kill his ex-wife, was rearrested peacefully Tuesday evening after bonding out of jail earlier this month.

Miami County prosecutor Bruce Embrey said 48-year-old Konrath’s bond had been revoked and a rearrest warrant had been issued after Konrath attempted to contact the state’s witness in his attempted murder case. That witness was his ex-girlfriend who provided police recordings of Konrath plotting to murder his ex-wife.

Konrath now faces two additional counts of invasion of privacy and one additional count of attempted invasion of privacy. All three charges are class A misdemeanors.

A jury trial in the attempted murder case has been set for Feb. 2, 2015.
