SR 25 resurfacing will cause lane restrictions

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Lane restrictions are coming to an eight-mile stretch of State Road 25 between Wingate and Odell.

A resurfacing project on State Road 25 is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 18. The road will be restricted to one lane as crews patch and resurface, the Indiana Department of Transportation said.

INDOT spokesperson Debbie Calder said great weather this summer has allowed them to complete a number of projects.

“We’ve had a really busy summer with INDOT. We’ve got a few projects around this area. We have several within our district that have been underway all summer, so we’re getting along pretty well,” Calder explained.

The $933,000 project is expected to be finished by the end of October.

Calder added they will also be resurfacing parts of Interstate 65 between Lafayette and Lebanon in the coming weeks.
