LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Due to the Uptown Jazz and Blues Festival this weekend, the Historic Lafayette Farmers Market will change locations for one week only.

On Saturday, Aug. 23 the market will move to a new location in downtown Lafayette to Fourth Street, between Main and Columbia streets. The Farmers Market is open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

“It’s great to see special events take place in our great downtown, with this weekend’s Uptown Jazz and Blues Festival being no exception,” Sara Yelich, with Greater Lafayette Commerce, told News 18 in a release. “By moving the market on Aug. 23, we will be able to retain our normal operating hours while assuring the festival has plenty of time to set up.”

In addition, all cars parked on Fourth Street will need to be moved by 6 a.m. Saturday due to the relocation.
