GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) — A former Greenwood High School teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student pleaded guilty to two counts of child seduction.

Tim Guilfoy, who taught physical education and coached girls golf, resigned after police say they caught him with a 17-year-old girl in his truck. According to police, he told officers he was having sex with her.

Under Indiana law, adults can face child seduction charges if they have a relationship with someone between the ages of 16 and 18, and, if they are in a position of trust or authority. That includes being a teacher.
