Boiler Bridge Bash cut short by stormy weather

Boiler Bridge Bash

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Greater Lafayette’s big welcome back party for Purdue students came to a soggy conclusion Thursday evening.

With only a few days before classes start, area businesses and organizations were set up on the John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge and at Riehle Plaza for the Boiler Bridge Bash.

However, the chance to connect with Boilermakers came to an early end once the storms moved in.

This was the second year for the event.
