CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Strong storms ripped through Colfax, Indiana last night knocking down trees and power lines.

In the aftermath of the storm, residents in the Clinton County town were trying to cleanup the mess. Residents say power has been out for at least 16 hours in the town.

Colfax resident Mick Stephens said he and his wife have been searching for one of their missing animals in the damage.

“Our sheep were out in the pin, and now one of them is missing and we’re looking for it,” Stephens said. “Don’t know if it got underneath the brush or it got out of the pen.”

Power lines have been repaired in town, but it’s still unclear when power to homes will be restored.
