CASS COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Multiple agencies searched the Wabash River in Cass County for several hours Sunday night after finding clothes near the river bank.

Crews were called to an area in the river near the Logansport canoe ramp around 8 p.m. after clothes were spotted near the bank of the river.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said early Monday morning the search has been called off and likely will not resume.

Nothing was found and officials say it was a “false alarm.”
