FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) — Although Monday, Sept. 1 is Labor Day, the city of Frankfort announced trash will still be collected that day.

Even though it’s a holiday, the Frankfort Street Department will collect trash on Labor Day Monday. This is the normally scheduled collection day for residents living in the southwest side of the city.

City officials said trash may be picked up earlier than normal, so to ensure collection residents should have it set out by 7 a.m.
