CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Carroll County Sheriff’s deputies said two people were airlifted following a crash in Carroll County Saturday night.

The single vehicle crash happened around 7:10 p.m. on County Road 725 North.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, driver Justin Summers, 22, of Lafayette, was driving himself and four others after spending the day on Lake Freeman. He rolled his car several times at the top of a hill near the Oakdale Bridge.

Front seat passenger Nicholas Brletic, 23, of Lafayette, was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to IU Methodist Hospital. He is currently in critical condition.

In the backseat of the car, Joshua Jacobs, 22, of Monticello, was taken to IU White Memorial Hospital before being flown to IU Arnett Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Jordyn Rush, 23, of Logansport, and Kristina Morris, 29, of Lafayette were also taken to White Memorial Hospital. Morris has been released from the hospital.

The sheriff’s office say speed and alcohol look to be factors in the crash. Toxicology reports are pending.
