One airlifted after second rollover crash in Carroll County

CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Carroll County deputies said one woman was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital Sunday evening after a rollover crash in Carroll County.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 200 North and County Road 200 East.

Deputies said the car flipped and rolled multiple times into a cornfield. The front seat passenger was ejected from the car and was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital.

The driver and backseat passenger were both transported to IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette with unknown injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours while crews worked to clean up the scene.

The names of those involved are not being released at this time. Deputies said speed is believed to be a factor.
