Arrest made after shots fired in Monticello

WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A White County woman is behind bars Wednesday morning after police say she fired a gun outside her home in Monticello.

Alison Sommers, 26, was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness.

Deputies said the shots were fired just before 7 p.m. Tuesday night on Orchard Lane in southeast Monticello, behind Oaklawn Elementary School.
