LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Closures and lane restrictions continue around Lafayette Thursday through next week.

Thursday Milestone Contractors will finish paving Ferry Street, from N. Second to Erie Avenue, and finish 11th Street. Friday crews will be paving Wabash Avenue and Maple Street.

Beginning Monday Sept. 8, paving work will begin on N. 18th Street and will continue through Wednesday, Sept. 10. After 18th Street work concludes, crews will be paving Union on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and Elmwood Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The city announced a closure for S. 20th Street, between Kossuth and Congress streets, beginning on Monday, Sept. 8 to Wednesday, Sept. 11. Winstead Enterprises will tap into the sewer line for the Auto Body supply company. Officials said drivers need to find an alternate route during the closure.

All construction work is weather dependent and could be pushed back. News 18 will update this story if any changes develop.
