N. 14th Street Village Pantry robbed

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police responded to a reported robbery at the Village Pantry on N. 14th Street just before 11 p.m. Monday.

Police say the robber was a short, thin male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap.

He demanded money but did not display a weapon before he took off on foot with the cash. Officers said he headed north from the store.

Anyone with information that would aid police is asked to the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200 or use the anonymous WeTip Hotline at 800-78-CRIME.
