LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Downtown Lafayette was buzzing Friday night with the final Gallery Walk of the season.
The event is put on by the Tippecanoe Arts Federation. On Friday, 30 venues participated including galleries and restaurants.
Local artists had their work on display at the various places, while other businesses featured live music.
Organizers said the weather has cooperated during all three walks this summer. They’re chalking it up as another successful year.
“We’ve seen it really enhance the economic development of our downtown and really tying in the community around the arts. So, you know, more than a decade along is certainly making an impact in our community,” said Tetia Lee, TAF executive director.
The events will start up again next May.
