Tapawingo Park becomes art gallery during upcoming Art on the Wabash

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – On Sunday, Sept. 25, a trip to West Lafayette’s Tapawingo Park will be just like visiting an art gallery. That’s because the park is hosting the 11th annual Art on the Wabash.

Nearly 50 artists will be displaying their work including Molly Phalan and Terry Crose. Both artists stopped by News 18 This Morning to talk about the upcoming event on Sunday.

“A lot of great local artists and artists from the mid-North Indiana region [will be a part of Art on the Wabash],” said Crose. “We’ve got painting, pottery, photography, woodworking – a little bit of everything.”

Crose brought in one of his abstract paintings, and Phalan brought in some of her handmade books.

Art on the Wabash is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Tapawingo Park in West Lafayette. The event is free, and there will be free parking at the Wabash Landing garage.
