TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A grand jury has indicted three men for a 2014 bank robbery in Lafayette.

All together, Charles D. Hunter III, Michael A. Mitchell and Stevonta D. Hill were indicted on 54 charges. Some of those charges include robbery while armed with a deadly weapon resulting in bodily injury and criminal confinement with a deadly weapon.

The robbery took place in August 2014 at the Industrial Federal Credit Union on Meijer Drive. Police, at the time, said a fourth person was involved, but that person has not been identified in court documents.

As News 18 reported, the men went into the credit union with guns and demanded money. One of the robbers hit the teller in the head with a gun.

Arrest warrants were served on Mitchell and Hill on Tuesday. Hunter is serving a sentence in the Department of Corrections for an unrelated case.
