KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH/WLFI) – Thursday is an important day for victims of last month’s tornadoes in Howard County.

The U.S. Small Business Administration is closing its Disaster Loan Outreach Center at 3 p.m.

The center is located at 210 W. Walnut St. in Kokomo.

As News 18 previously reported, it opened Sept. 20 to provide residents and business owners help recovering from damages from the storms on Aug. 24.

SBA representatives are encouraging all businesses, private nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters that need answers to their disaster loan application to visit the Disaster Loan Outreach Center before it closes.
