LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The wife of U.S. Senate candidate Evan Bayh made a stop in Lafayette Saturday.
Susan Bayh has served on numerous boards of corporations.
She gave a quick speech to 20 people at the party’s headquarters in downtown Lafayette.
State Rep. Sheila Klinker and Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski were among those in attendance.
Bayh talked about a variety of topics while she was in town.
“We’re here in a get-out-to-vote effort to make sure that we’re calling people, letting them know the differences between the candidates, letting them know why Evan Bayh is going to be the best senator for Indiana,” she said.
Election Day is Nov. 8.
