Crash closed major intersection on Lafayette’s south side

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A crash on Lafayette’s south side closed a major intersection for about an hour Tuesday afternoon.

Lafayette police said the crash happened just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Concord Road. It caused a large truck to flip on its side in the middle of the intersection.

Police shut down the intersection for about an hour while crews worked the scene.

The intersection has since reopened.
