LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Two cars are destroyed after a collision in Lafayette.

The crash happened at the intersection of South Ninth Street and Valley Forge Road, around 3 p.m.

Police said a driver headed east failed to look both ways at a stop sign and ran into a car that was north bound on Ninth Street.

There were only minor injuries, police said.

Both drivers were cited, one for a suspended license and the other for not obeying a stop sign.
