LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A job fair in Lafayette brought out many employers and job seekers searching for opportunity.

Lafayette’s Ivy Tech Community College and Olivet Nazarene University held a public career fair Sunday at the Courtyard Marriott in Lafayette.

The job fair brought more than 40 employers searching for future hires.

The event was open to the general public free of charge.

Organizers said they hope this event gave everyone a chance to explore multiple options.

Saturday’s event is the first public, off-campus career fair offered by Ivy Tech.
