LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Current Indiana Lt. Gov. and Republican gubernatorial candidate Eric Holcomb made a stop in Lafayette Saturday.

Holcomb started his day in Indianapolis before visiting with dozens of supporters at D&R BBQ and Catering on Creasy Lane.

While on the campaign trail, some of his talking points included keeping a stable economy and bringing jobs to the state.

He said it’s been a busy few months on the campaign trail, but it’s up to Hoosier voters to decide which direction the state will take.

“We’re focused on keeping Indiana moving full steam ahead and continuing to forward momentum over the next four years,” Holcomb said. “We’ve come a long way fast, and again, it happened because of proven leadership – Republican leadership.”

Holcomb confirmed he plans on casting his vote for the Trump/Pence ticket.

He is up against Democrat John Gregg and Libertarian Rex Bell in the Nov. 8 Election.
