West Lafayette crash sends 3 to hospital

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash in West Lafayette Saturday.

It happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Salisbury Street and Sagamore Parkway.

According to West Lafayette police, a 17-year-old driver was traveling east on Sagamore Parkway when he rear-ended another car.

Police said the driver and passenger of that car, along with the 17-year-old driver were taken to area hospitals. Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

The intersection was closed for 30 minutes and has since reopened.
