CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WLFI) – Although he’s not up for re-election this year, U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly also weighed in on the current political scene.

Donnelly believes creating and filling jobs is one of the major talking points this election season.

He said Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Evan Bayh and Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Gregg would make great leaders.

Donnelly is encouraging voters to come out on Nov. 8 and have their voices heard.

“This is your future, this is what’s going to determine what happens to your family, to your children in the years ahead,” Donnelly said. “And this country is worth your vote.”

If he decides to run for a second term, Donnelly will be up for re-election in 2018.
