WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Officials with Donald Trump’s Indiana campaign are making stops in three area counties to rally support before Election Day.

The first stop Tuesday was at Nine Irish Brothers pub in West Lafayette. Trump supporters had the opportunity to pick up yard signs and talk to campaign officials.

Chairman Rex Early said a Trump win in Indiana is good for other Republicans running in the state, especially in the races for governor and U.S. Senate.

“We want the down ticket to win, too. I think if Trump comes in with a big score, then the down ticket is going to win,” Early said.

Lafayette Republican Arlan Stavnheim say there’s no persuading him because he already voted.

“This nation is really looking for some change in the White House and in the Senate and the House. The only person that’s going to make that change, really, is going to be Donald Trump.” Stavnheim said.

Early said Republicans in Tippecanoe County are on board with Trump and are voting for him. The campaign also hosted events in Monticello and Fowler on Tuesday.
