LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) — Logansport city leaders will talk about tax abatements for two companies Wednesday night.

Mayor Dave Kitchell said the companies of Myers Spring and Logan Machine have both asked for the tax waivers. Between the two, the abatements would come out to be more than $3 million.

According to Myers Spring, its parts and springs are in every day products such as pens, toys and appliances. Logan Machine Co. produces workholding and wheel-manufacturing products, based on the company’s website.

The meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers at 6 p.m. It’s open to the public.
