WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A Twin Lakes High School principal who was put on administrative leave for operating a vehicle while intoxicated has pleaded guilty.
White County prosecutor Robert Guy said Jennifer Miller asked for a change of plea Thursday morning.
Police arrested Miller in August after a witness called 911 to report an intoxicated driver.
According to court documents, Miller’s blood alcohol content was .144 – almost twice the legal limit.
Miller pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent of .08 or higher.
Guy says she is undergoing a drug and alcohol evaluation administered by the county.
Miller’s current status with Twin Lakes School Corporation is unclear at this time. News 18 reached out to the superintendent but did not receive an immediate response.
