TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. (WLFI) — Traffic is moving again along U.S. 231, after a crash slowed it earlier Sunday evening.
Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s deputies said it happened just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 231 and County Road 800 South.
Deputies said a car headed north on U.S. 231 was T-boned by a car that failed to yield at the intersection.
The driver of the vehicle that failed to yield was taken to a local hospital complaining of head and neck pain.
Deputies said the driver and a passenger in the other vehicle were not injured.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
Traffic was delayed until crews cleared the scene. Roads reopened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
