ISP investigate inmate death at Warren County Jail

WARREN COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Indiana State Police confirmed Tuesday morning they are investigating an inmate death at the Warren County Jail.

Sgt. Kim Riley said a male was found unresponsive in his cell at the jail. Medics attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

State police are not releasing the inmate’s name until family has been notified.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
