WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — With the holidays right around the corner, wreaths will soon be laid on all the graves at the Indiana Veterans’ Home.

It’s all a part of the Wreaths Across America.

Organizer Dana Vann said they’re still looking for donations to make this mission possible.

“Wreaths Across America says we die twice,” Vann said. “We die once when we take our last breath and the second time when our name is no longer said. It’s a big mission of Wreaths Across America to lay that wreath and say that name and remember that veteran.”

Each wreath costs $15.

If you buy two wreaths, a third wreath will be donated.

They’re looking to cover nearly 2,900 graves at the Indiana Veterans’ Home this year.

You can donate by sending a check to P.O. Box 275 Lafayette, Indiana, 47902.

Vann said you can also donate by clicking here.
