Burton wins over the incumbent in TSC School Board race

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — The race for Tippecanoe County School Board, District 4, has been a heated one. It was confirmed Wednesday morning, Jake Burton has won over incumbent Jim Slaven.

Burton received 55 percent of the vote over Slaven’s 45 percent.

Both candidates have put their all in to campaigning.

Slaven is currently vice President of the school board and has served for the last eight and half years.

Burton has been a teacher, coach and an administrator with Tippecanoe County schools for 41 years.
