WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A Twin Lakes principal who went on administrative leave following an arrest and an OWI charge has decided to step down from her position.
Jennifer Miller, 41, turned in her resignation Tuesday night during the Twin Lakes School Board meeting. School Board President Larry Crabb said she will be paid through December for her leave.
Miller took a leave of absence after being arrested and charged for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. According to court documents, her blood alcohol content was .144 — almost twice the legal limit.
Miller pleaded guilty to the charges in October.
There was no word on Miller’s replacement.
