TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — An inmate at the Tippecanoe County Jail faces new charges following several incidents with corrections officers.
Twenty-seven-year-old Scott Barry is charged with three counts of battery by bodily waste.
Prosecutors say Barry repeatedly spit and threw urine on officers, including on Nov. 2 when the urine struck an officer in the eye. Court records say Barry claimed he had hepatitis C.
Barry has several previous convictions for charges including strangulation, theft and drug possession.
