MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office has closed its investigation into last week’s fire at a Montgomery County Highway Department building.

The fire broke out Sunday, Nov. 6 at the building on Whitlock Avenue in Crawfordsville.

According to the fire marshal’s office, the cause of the fire has been ruled undetermined due to extensive damage.

As News 18 previously reported last week, County Commissioner Terry Hockersmith said the fire destroyed 13 snow plows and caused $3 million worth of damage.
