WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Tuesday is a very special day for one West Lafayette woman. That’s because she’s celebrating 100 years.

Irene Fee says the secret to living this long is to take one day at a time.

Fee’s friends and family helped her celebrate her big day with a birthday party.

“Well, I think it’s nice when I go to other people’s parties,” Fee said. “But I don’t like being the guest of honor because you don’t realize it, but I am shy. I really am.”

Fee celebrated with a cake and her favorite punch.

One guest even did a special birthday dance for Fee.
