TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — The prosecutor has filed charges against a teen accused of taking part in a robbery – that ended with one person shot in the chest.

Eighteen-year-old Tre’Velle Young of Lafayette faces four charges, including armed robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and criminal confinement.

According to court documents, Young and another man were attempting to rob four people inside an apartment on Hartford Street on Aug. 10, when the other man shot one of the victims.
