FLORA, Ind. (WLFI) — Thanksgiving may be less than a week away, but it’s already beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Carroll County.
The annual Christmas Parade took place in Flora Saturday. Besides the parade, the day’s events featured a biscuits and gravy breakfast, holiday market and craft show.
More than 17 vendors were on hand. Members of the ladies of Methodist Church served breakfast and lunch.
Resident Kathy Day said the event brings the small town closer together.
“We’re a close community, and we can count on each other,” she said. “We enjoy it. We are a small town, and we are trying to grow and keep the smaller towns thriving.”
This year’s theme was a Hawaiian Christmas.
